President and CEO
Warner Bros. Discovery
David Zaslav is President and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery, one of the world’s largest and most diverse media and entertainment companies with market leadership across all programming genres, including premium scripted television and movies, non-fiction series, international, animation, global sports and news. Mr. Zaslav spearheaded the transaction between AT&T’s WarnerMedia and Discovery, combining the companies’ media assets, in April 2022.

Mr. Zaslav sets the strategy and oversees all operations for Warner Bros. Discovery’s global suite of brands, including Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Bros. Television Group, HBO, HBO Max, discovery+, CNN, TNT Sports, HGTV, Food Network, OWN, ID, Warner Bros. Animation, Discovery Kids, Eurosport, and more.

Previously, Mr. Zaslav led Discovery since 2006, driving the organization’s growth, operational efficiency and its pivot to direct-to-consumer. Under his leadership, Discovery launched some of the fastest-growing cable networks in the U.S., achieved numerous milestones for viewership of domestic brands, including Animal Planet, HGTV, Food Network and TLC, and curated a collection of world-class brands and global IP that created the foundation for discovery+.

Prior to taking the helm at Discovery, Mr. Zaslav had a distinguished career at NBCUniversal, where he was instrumental in developing and launching CNBC and he also played a role in the creation of MSNBC. He was previously an attorney with the New York firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby & MacRae, and graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Zaslav was inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame in 2017 and is a member of the Cable TV Pioneers Class of 2018. He is a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award, the UJA-Federation of New York’s Steven J. Ross Humanitarian Award, Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications Fred Dressler Leadership Award, and the Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration’s Susan and S.I. Newhouse Award of Hope.
Mr. Zaslav serves on the boards of American Cinematheque, Sirius XM Radio, and Grupo Televisa S.A.B. He also is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Paley Center for Media and Syracuse University and is on the Board of Overseers for NYU Langone Health. He is a member of the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is also a member of the Television Academy.

Wiedenfels
Chief Financial Officer
Gunnar Wiedenfels serves as Chief Financial Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery, responsible for overseeing the company’s global financial functions and strategies, including FP&A, accounting, internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement, and investor relations activities. In addition, Wiedenfels has oversight of the company’s global business services, enterprise technical, facilities, studio, tours and retail operations.

Before the Discovery-WarnerMedia merger in April 2022, Wiedenfels served as Chief Financial Officer, Discovery, Inc., where he was a key architect of Discovery’s agreement with AT&T to create a premier, standalone global entertainment company – Warner Bros. Discovery – via combining WarnerMedia’s premium entertainment assets with Discovery’s leading nonfiction, international entertainment, and sports businesses.

Prior to joining Discovery in 2017, Wiedenfels spent seven years in executive management roles at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE in Munich, Germany. During his time as its CFO, he was responsible for the broadcaster outperforming analyst expectations and strong shareholder value creation.

Wiedenfels serves on the SAP SE Supervisory Board and as Chairman on its Nomination Committee.  He studied Business Informatics in Mannheim and received his Ph.D. from the RWTH Aachen University, both in Germany.

Priya
Aiyar
Chief Legal Officer
Priya Aiyar serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery where she leads the company’s global legal organization and strategy.

Aiyar, who has noteworthy experience guiding businesses and public-sector organizations as well as a personal focus on building relationships and driving collaboration, joined WBD in February 2025 and reports directly to WBD’s Chief Executive Officer, David Zaslav.

She previously served as Chief Legal Officer for American Airlines and as a key advisor to their board. In that role, she was responsible for the airline’s legal affairs and strategies globally, as well as labor relations. Aiyar played a pivotal role in American’s navigation of the COVID-19 pandemic, subsequent return to profitability, and achievement of milestone new contracts with its unionized work groups.

Before joining American Airlines in 2019, Aiyar held several senior roles both at law firms and in the public sector. From 2013 to 2017, Aiyar was the Acting General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Department of the Treasury and earlier served as Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Aiyar received a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, a master’s degree from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar, and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. 

Bruce
Campbell
Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer
Bruce Campbell serves as Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery, overseeing U.S. advertising sales, distribution revenue and content licensing, global corporate development and strategy, global streaming platform agreements and legal affairs for the company. 

Campbell most recently served as Chief Development, Distribution and Legal Officer, Discovery, Inc., where he was responsible for corporate development, domestic distribution, global legal affairs, and business affairs as well as production management. In that role, Campbell spearheaded and executed many of the company’s most crucial deals, including acting as the lead negotiator in the merger between AT&T’s WarnerMedia and Discovery; and the acquisitions of Scripps Networks Interactive, SBS Nordics and Eurosport. 

Before joining Discovery in 2007, Campbell was the EVP of Business Development for NBCUniversal, where he was responsible for strategic planning and corporate transactions. He also represented the company in negotiating the online video joint venture with News Corp that became Hulu. 

Campbell holds degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

Duvall
Chief Information Officer
Dave Duvall serves as Chief Information Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery, leading the organization accountable for all enterprise technology and operations at the company. Group responsibilities include: IT corporate and business systems, workforce technology and support, InfoSec, as well as studios, networks, and distribution technology and operations.

A 19-year veteran of Discovery, Inc., Duvall most recently served as the company’s CIO, responsible for the global technology and operations team comprising all IT (corporate and revenue systems), broadcast operations and engineering, distribution and InfoSec globally. He has wide-ranging experience in global technology platform design, configuration and management in a multi-national setting.

Warner Bros. Discovery (as Discovery) was recognized in 2020 with a Technology Emmy Award for contributions pioneering and advancing cloud-based media supply chain technology. Prior major efforts include Discovery’s successful acquisition and integration of Scripps Networks interactive, enterprise cloud transformation, and an IP-based WAN and tech design to modernize Sport production technology at Eurosport – enabling best-in-class Olympic production in Pyeongchang, Tokyo, and Beijing.

Duvall is a member of the Board of Directors for SDVI and sits on the Advisory Board for CapitalCIO. He earned a B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and completed the Cable Executive Management program at Harvard Business School.

Gibbs
Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer
Robert Gibbs serves as the Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery where he oversees the company’s global corporate and business communications as well as government relations and public affairs. 

Known for effectively positioning companies, candidates, and clients during times of transformation and subsequent success, Gibbs has 30 years of communications and public policy experience ranging from Fortune 500 companies to The White House.

Before joining WBD in June 2024, Gibbs served as a Partner at Bully Pulpit International, a strategic communications, public affairs, and corporate reputation advisory firm. Prior to that, he spent more than four years as the Executive Vice President for Corporate Relations and Global Chief Communications Officer for McDonald’s, where he oversaw global corporate communications, internal and executive communications, government relations and public affairs work. At McDonald’s, Gibbs globalized the communications function, led communications strategy for the successful launch of McDonald’s delivery service, and led the creation of the brand’s “America’s Best First Job” campaign.

Prior to McDonald’s, Gibbs was a trusted advisor to President Obama for almost a decade. He began working for Obama in 2004 as Communications Director for his U.S. Senate campaign and held the same job in Obama’s U.S. Senate office and during his 2008 presidential campaign. Gibbs was the first White House Press Secretary for the Obama Administration, serving from 2009 - 2011 and later worked as a Senior Advisor to President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

Gibbs, a graduate of North Carolina State University, serves on the Board of Directors of Yelp.

Girdwood
Chief People & Culture Officer
Amy Girdwood serves as Chief People & Culture Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery where she oversees a global team dedicated to attracting, developing, and retaining the company’s more than 35,000 talented employees, with a focus on building high-performing teams and shaping a workplace culture where employees feel valued, inspired, and empowered to do their best work. 

Girdwood previously led the People & Culture business partner function for WBD’s International, DTC, Interactive, Tours, Studio Operations & Retail business, developing people strategies to ensure successful delivery of business goals. Girdwood’s ability to implement impactful people programs and drive organizational development and design initiatives have helped shape WBD today.

At Discovery Inc., prior to the merger with WarnerMedia, Girdwood emphasized creating a culture and environment focused on digital transformation. She designed a global organizational structure that attracted and recruited employees with new digital native skills, ensuring stakeholders and employees supported and adapted to changing technology and media landscapes. Girdwood oversaw the workforce transformation and integration of the International & Streaming businesses following several significant mergers, including WarnerMedia, Scripps Networks, SBS, and Eurosport. 

Girdwood holds a bachelor’s degree in management sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and a post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management from the University of Westminster.

Locke
Chief Accounting Officer
Lori Locke serves as Chief Accounting Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery, where she leads the company’s financial reporting, accounting, and related internal controls functions. Locke works closely with the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Gunnar Wiedenfels, to whom she reports.

A 30-year veteran in corporate and public accounting, Locke has held senior finance positions at various large organizations including Gannett, Leidos, Hilton and AOL Time Warner. Locke also served in the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission and prior to that worked at Deloitte.

Locke currently serves on the board of the Media Financial Management Association. Locke earned a B.S. in accounting from Pennsylvania State University, is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Perrette
CEO and President, Global Streaming and Games
JB Perrette serves as CEO and President of Global Streaming and Games for Warner Bros. Discovery.

Perrette is spearheading the global rollout of Max, the company’s unified streaming platform, now available in the U.S., Latin America, European, and APAC markets, with more launches planned in additional territories. Additionally, he oversees Warner Bros. Discovery’s gaming and interactive entertainment business, which includes WB Games’ successful game development and publishing operations for such titles as Mortal Kombat, Hogwarts Legacy, and Batman: Arkham Knight.

Perrette most recently served as President and CEO of Discovery Streaming and International, a global leader in real life entertainment with worldwide distribution in both television and emerging digital platforms. Prior to joining Discovery, Inc. in 2011 as Chief Digital Officer, he spent 11 years with NBCUniversal, ultimately serving as President, Digital and Affiliate Distribution. During that time, he played a leadership role in creating and developing Hulu, including serving on its Board for several years.

Perrette received his B.A. from Hamilton College.

Asif
Sadiq
Chief Inclusion Officer
Asif Sadiq serves as Chief Global Inclusion Officer at Warner Bros. Discovery. In this role, Sadiq is tasked with building key synergies between internal and external efforts to ensure inclusion is embedded in all elements of the business, resulting in innovative, creative and inclusive products and services.  

Previously, Sadiq was SVP of DEI at WarnerMedia, based in London. He also held similar roles at Adidas, The Telegraph Media Group, EY Financial Services and the City of London Police.

Sadiq has been listed as one of the most influential Global D&I Leaders by Hive Learning and the CIPD’s Top 20 Power list. He was honored with an MBE by the Queen of England in 2017 and granted the freedom of the City of London in 2016. He is a member of the HR Guild and a companion member for The Chartered Management Institute.

Sadiq serves on the board of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kaplan, and is a member of the board of advisors for Hedley May.

Avi
Saxena
Chief Technology Officer
Avi Saxena serves as Chief Technology Officer for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), where he is responsible for all the technology that serves the company’s consumer products globally, including Max, the company’s unified streaming platform, now available in the U.S., Latin America, European, and APAC markets, with more launches planned in additional territories.

Saxena also oversees all WBD direct-to-consumer News, Sports and Entertainment products such as CNN, discovery+, Eurosport, GolfTV & Golf Digest, Bleacher Report, March Madness, NHL, Harry Potter Franchise, DC Comics, MotorTrend, Magnolia, TNT, TBS and numerous other entertainment products. He is responsible for a global technology organization that spreads across Seattle, New York, San Francisco, Ottawa, London, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Budapest, India and many other global locations.

Prior to joining Discovery, Inc., Saxena worked for Amazon in a variety of roles, most recently as Vice President of Technology for Amazon Marketplace. He also held leadership roles at Microsoft and several internet infrastructure startups, where he created content delivery networks and other technologies to transform how businesses leverage internet technology.

Saxena holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University, an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Texas, Dallas, and a B.S. in Computer Science from SGS Institute of Technology and Science.

Gerhard
Zeiler
President, International
Gerhard Zeiler serves as President of International for Warner Bros. Discovery. Zeiler has strategic oversight for the company’s brands and joint responsibility for direct-to-consumer in more than 220 international markets. He is also responsible for local theatrical production and acquisitions, as well as managing the country and region-specific networks and businesses in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.  

Appointed President of WarnerMedia International in 2020, Zeiler added responsibility for Discovery Inc.’s significant international footprint following the close of the Discovery-WarnerMedia merger in April 2022. He first joined Turner in 2012 as President, Turner International, where he oversaw the entertainment and kids’ networks in all markets outside of North America, working with core global brands on local and regional channels.

Prior to joining Turner, Zeiler was CEO of RTL Group, a division of German conglomerate Bertelsmann and Europe’s largest television production and broadcast company. Under his leadership, RTL expanded its international footprint, bringing hit competition shows like Idols and Got Talent to the U.S. market and growing its holdings to 41 channels and 34 radio stations across 10 countries.  

Among his many professional honors, Austrian-born Zeiler is the first non-American to receive NATPE’s prestigious Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award in 2011.
