On November 18, 2024, NexGen reached a major milestone in the Federal Environmental Assessment process, receiving formal confirmation from the CNSC that all information requests have been successfully addressed. The completion of the Federal EA technical review stage follows the CNSC deeming NexGen’s Federal licence application sufficient in September 2023, with Provincial EA approval received in November 2023.
Projects Overview
NexGen Energy is focused on the Rook I Project, which is the largest development-stage uranium project in Canada, located in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin. The project aims to supply uranium for a zero-emission clean energy source and is centered around the Arrow Deposit, which is 100% owned by NexGen and is being developed with strong environmental and community commitments.
