- ["The How Mine is our flagship producing gold mine. With a proud production history spanning over eight decades, the How Mine is recognized as one of Zimbabwe’s most established gold operations, generating reliable cash flow to fuel our broader regional ambitions. Located 22 kilometers southeast of Bulawayo in Zimbabwe’s South Province, How Mine covers 2,408 hectares and operates in a mining-friendly jurisdiction, benefitting from supportive regulatory frameworks and established infrastructure. The How Mine has grown into one of Zimbabwe’s most established gold operations, expanding both open-pit and underground mining under successive owners. Lonrho Zimbabwe managed the mine for nearly three decades, followed by Metallon in 2002 and Bulawayo Mining Company in 2016. Namib Minerals assumed ownership in 2025, continuing its long tradition of production while embedding modern ESG practices and community partnerships into the operation. The How Mine is advancing a significant production increase over the next two to three years, supported by mill expansion and optimized processing capacity. This growth will be complemented by the planned restart of nearby Mazowe and Redwing mines, leveraging shared infrastructure to deliver scalable, sustainable output. Final principal component installed. Commissioning on track for H2 2026.","The Mazowe Mine is a historic, high-grade underground gold operation with extensive underground access, grid power, and processing facilities, providing the foundation for its restart. The Mazowe Mine is situated approximately 40 kilometers north of Harare, Zimbabwe, in a well-established mining region with strong infrastructure and access to skilled labor. The Mazowe Mine’s history dates back to 1903 with the formation of Jumbo Gold Mining Company, which established significant underground workings and milling infrastructure. Over the decades, ownership transitioned through several companies with notable production periods under Lonrho Zimbabwe, Independence Gold Mining, and Busia Mining Company (BMC). We acquired the Mazowe Mine in 2024, to prepare it for its next stage of production. Namib Minerals is advancing a Feasibility Study for Mazowe Mine’s restart, targeting site and infrastructure upgrades for efficient, scalable production. With disciplined capital allocation and sustainability measures, the restart will enhance our operational platform and deepen community partnerships in the region.","The Redwing Mine is a brownfield underground gold operation where dewatering is underway as part of the restart process. With proven reserves and strong exploration upside as well a strategically advantageous location and established infrastructure, Redwing will support Namib’s growth objectives in Zimbabwe and create long-term value. Located in Manicaland Province within Zimbabwe’s Penhalonga area, Redwing Mine sits approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Mutare—a key industrial and logistics hub that provides strong regional support for mining operations and access to skilled labor. Operating for over a century, Redwing Mine has been part of Zimbabwe’s gold mining heritage, with notable periods under Lonrho Zimbabwe and Metallon Gold. Namib Minerals acquired the mine in 2025, embedding modern ESG practices and operational discipline to prepare it for sustainable, long-term production. Dewatering activities officially commenced in January 2026 and are expected to be completed by late 2026. A definitive feasibility study will be based on actual underground access, condition assessments, and engineering work before the mine development and build-out phase required to support long-term production."]
