Clinical Trials

CardiolRx™, the lead drug candidate of Cardiol Therapeutics, is in clinical development for heart disease, specifically targeting recurrent pericarditis and acute myocarditis. The FDA has granted Orphan Drug Designation for CardiolRx™ for these conditions, and two Phase II studies are planned following successful Phase I trials that demonstrated safety and tolerability.
