In November 2023, Bonterra and Osisko Mining entered into an earn-in and JV agreement on the Phoenix JV, allowing Osisko Mining to earn 70% with a C$5 million upfront payment and C$30 million in expenditures over three years. As of August 2024, the JV has drilled 60,000 m and made a promising discovery of Lynx-style mineralization at the Moss target.
Projects Overview
Bonterra's projects are located in the Urban-Barry Camp, which is part of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt and contains three main deposits: Gladiator, Barry, and Desmaraisville, with over 3M ozs Au across all categories. The Bachelor Mill, the only permitted mill in the region, is planned to be expanded to 1,800 tonnes per day, enhancing Bonterra's operational capabilities.
