- Luanga is hosted in a “classic” Proterozoic mafic-ultramafic complex, with approximate near surface expression of 7 x 3.5km. PGM sulphide hosted mineralization predominantly occurs at the contact between basal ultramafic rocks and overlying mafic rocks, with minor silicate hosted mineralization occurring higher in the overturned mafic unit. Mineralized zones are 10-50m thick and dominated by higher Pd:Pt ratios, plus rhodium, gold and nickel.
