As Chief Operating Officer of Barrick Gold Corporation (2015-2018), he spearheaded operational and strategic initiatives that delivered an 80% increase in operating profit and orchestrated a complete reset of Barrick's relationship with the Tanzanian Government, resolving a legacy dispute and restoring a critical partnership.

He brings extensive board and C-suite experience as CEO of an Africa- and Central Asia-focused exploration company and former non-executive director of both Trevali Mining Corporation and Gem Diamonds PLC. A former Executive General Manager of Barrick Gold’s Lumwana Copper Mine in Zambia, Mr Ash is an experienced American Mining Engineer and modernizing leader, with a proven track record of building and leading teams capable of optimizing and enhancing the operating efficiency, profitability and sustainability of mining operations in complex and challenging environments.

During his tenure at Lumwana Mr. Ash Delivered over $100M in sustainable free cash flow improvements, achieved 50% improvement in safety performance, executed a training and development program achieving 96% local workforce, and progressed expansion plans that doubled the value of mine.

Bradley Barnett
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Bradley Barnett brings more than 30 years of international business experience, including over 15 years in the global mining sector with leadership roles spanning finance, operations, sustainability, and project development across Africa, Asia, South America, and North America.

Mr. Barnett previously served as Vice President of Sustainability at Bunker Hill Mining, where he helped establish the company’s landmark relationship with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, contributing to the restructuring of historical environmental liability terms and helping unlock investment that supported the reopening of the historic Bunker Hill Mine.

Over his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including CEO, CFO, and Managing Director, and previously served as a Managing Director at Barrick Gold. He has also served as CFO of Afghan Gold & Minerals Corp. and Central Asian Resources, and most recently founded Critical Minerals International, a battery materials venture focused on developing critical mineral supply chains.

Mr. Barnett holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Riverside and resides in San Francisco, California, with his family.

Brenda Dayton
Vice President, Investor Relations
Brenda is an experienced investor relations and corporate communications executive with over 20 years of mining industry experience. As Vice President of Investor Relations, she is responsible for Bunker Hill’s internal and external communications functions, investor relations activities, stakeholder engagement, and media relations. With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Brenda provides a wealth of knowledge, insight, and connections to the role, along with a passion for the mining sector and its potential for growth and innovation.

Prior to joining the Company, Brenda served in various executive and senior roles with precious metals companies, including Ivanhoe Mines, Sunward Resources, Golden Queen Mining, GR Silver Mining, and most recently, Japan Gold. Brenda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary.

Tom Francis
General Manager
Tom Francis is the General Manager of the Bunker Hill Mine. Mr. Francis joins the Bunker Hill team after 10 years with Rio Tinto, the second-largest mining company in the world, where he was most recently Mine Manager at the Kennecott Bingham Canyon Mine (“Kennecott”) in Utah, USA, its single largest mining operation. Among other achievements, his team delivered world-class payload metrics on Kennecott’s ultra-class truck fleet while simultaneously increasing average haul truck speeds and tire life. Previous roles with Rio Tinto included responsibility for productivity across the full Kennecott value stream (mine, concentrator, smelter and refinery), three years in the Group strategic investment analysis team assessing its global suite of projects (greenfield, brownfield & closure), and several years in Rio Tinto Exploration (RTX) managing operational support (incl. safety) for Rio Tinto’s Exploration’s projects across Africa and Eurasia.

Prior to his mining experience, Mr. Francis served as an officer in the Royal Marines and UK Special Forces, serving on multiple operational tours in Kosovo, Iraq & Afghanistan. He is a dual national US/UK citizen having lived, studied and worked in both the US and the UK. He holds a first-class degree from the University of Oxford (BA, Mathematics & Computation).

Mark McBride
Vice President, Finance
Mark McBride is Vice President, Finance at Bunker Hill Mining Corp., where he oversees financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, and financial planning for the Company. He has over a decade of experience in financial reporting, audit, and accounting within the mining industry.

Prior to joining Bunker Hill, he served as Corporate Controller at Great Panther Mining Limited and previously as Manager of Financial Reporting at Pretium Resources, where he was responsible for external financial reporting, internal financial analysis, budgeting, and audit coordination in accordance with IFRS and SEC requirements.

He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver and London, working on audit engagements for global mining companies including Rio Tinto, Anglo American, and Teck Resources.

He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
