- Sampling throughout the silicified breccia to date demonstrates gold and silver values up to 31 grams per tonne (gpt) Au, or 0.903 ounces per ton (opt) Au, and 458 gpt (13.34 opt) Ag from within the silicified breccia. The average of all 31 rock chip samples taken from the silicified breccia body and the surrounding silicified granite is 1.77 gpt (0.052 opt) Au and 89.5 gpt (2.61 opt) Ag. The silicified breccia is covered by alluvium at the southeastern end of the extent of outcrop where the last samples collected contained between 1.34-3.02 gpt Au and 59.7 -208.4 gpt Ag. It is likely the silicified breccia body continues beneath shallow unconsolidated alluvial cover to the southeast. These results are historical but are backed by certified assay certificates from reputable laboratories that regularly service the exploration and mining industry. Despite these attractive historic assay values, the silicified breccia has yet to be tested with a drill hole.
- Projects
- ["Ramsey Silver Project: Arizona Silver Exploration Inc. has commenced core drilling on the Ramsey Mine silver project located in La Paz County, Arizona, approximately two hours west of Phoenix. Permits to drill five exploration drill holes on patented claims have been obtained from the Arizona Department of Water Resources. A total of 2,000 feet of core in two fences of holes is planned in this Phase 1 drilling program. One fence of holes will test the southern end of the old Ramsey Mine workings which mined a high grade silver vein (with lead and zinc credits) from the surface down to the 529 foot level, and the other fence of holes will test the northern end of the old Ramsey mine stoped out area. Historic channel samples taken at both ends of the stoped out areas on six levels (35 to 299 levels) indicate the continuation of good values of silver in veins and adjacent brecciated wall rock, averaging 925 gpt (27 opt) Ag, being below the reported cut-off grade in the 1960s (which was approximately 1000 gpt (30 opt) Ag), and which appears to be the reason stoping was discontinued. Long hole drilling from underground in the late 1960s identified a wide low-grade halo surrounding the high-grade vein that averaged 120 gpt (3.5 opt) Ag in a zone with an overall true width of 20-40 metres wide, not including the high-grade vein. Drilling from surface is intended to test the entire width of the low-grade envelope surrounding the high-grade vein. Drilling will simultaneously test the ground magnetic anomaly that is coincident with the mineralization exposed in the old Ramsey Mine workings, in order to understand the source of the magnetic anomaly and to be able to better interpret the much larger (500 meter diameter) ground magnetic anomaly to the north. This northern anomaly appears to be the faulted extension of the anomaly that is coincident with the Ramsey Mine area. It is located across an inferred fault and beneath an estimated 30-60 meters of alluvial cover, based upon data from water wells located approximately two miles to the north of the property. Down hole geophysical logging is planned to quantify the physical properties of the mineralized zone in order to be able to design and interpret further geophysical surveys over the larger undrilled ground magnetic anomaly to the north.","Philadelphia Project: Arizona Silver Exploration Inc. has completed the first two core holes of the Q4 core drilling program on our 100% owned Philadelphia project. Philadelphia is a high-grade gold and silver vein target located in Mohave County, northwestern Arizona. The Philadelphia property is the first of two new gold projects for Arizona Silver Exploration. The first two core holes are located 100 feet to the north from our previous drilling looking for continuation of the high-grade vein where we intersected 15.82 grams per tonne (gpt) gold (Au) and 90 grams per tonne (gpt) silver (Ag) over 3.1 metres thickness in hole PRC19-2, and 7.2 gpt Au and 50 gpt Ag across 3.1 metres in hole PRC19-1. Our interpretation is the high-grade zone extends to the north of these intercepts beneath a historic surface trench sample that is reported at 1.5 metres (5 ft.) containing 39.4 gpt (1.15 ounces per ton) Au. Core holes PC19-7 and PC19-8 intersected the targeted vein and stockwork silica in rhyolite beneath unconsolidated alluvium ranging from 27-53 feet deep (8.2-16.2 metres). The target zone consists of strong quartz-calcite veins within a brecciated matrix of mixed lithologies. At least four periods of calcite and/or quartz veining are evident in the core, including a middle stage of bladed calcite formation and a later stage of quartz replacement of bladed calcite. The latter is indicative of the upper part of the boiling zone where precious metals are generally precipitated from rising epithermal solutions. Core hole PC19-8 was drilled beneath core hole PC19-7 and shows more silica replacement of bladed calcite than is evident in PC19-7, suggesting closer proximity to the heart of the boiling zone going down the dip of the vein structure. Fine grained brassy metallic minerals are visible throughout the target zone, in a density ranging from several flecks per inch of core to one fleck per foot of core. All obvious pyrite has been thoroughly oxidized to goethite. Gold, if present, historically is contained in the mineral electrum with a 65/35 gold/silver ratio on the property, which has a less yellow color than pure gold. Core hole PC19-8 continues and will end when the footwall andesite or granite is intersected. Footwall andesite was intersected in core hole PC19-7."]
